Browser-Specific Troubleshooting
Supported Browsers
Praxi supports the latest two major versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Internet Explorer is not supported. For the best experience, use Chrome or Edge on desktop and Safari on iOS.
Clear Browser Cache
Stale cached assets can cause layout glitches, missing buttons, or outdated data.
- Open your browser settings (or press Ctrl+Shift+Delete / Cmd+Shift+Delete).
- Select Cached images and files. Leave cookies unchecked unless support advises otherwise.
- Set the time range to Last 24 hours and click Clear data.
- Reload Praxi with a hard refresh: Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+R (macOS).
PWA Not Installing or Updating
If the Praxi progressive web app does not appear in your install prompt:
- Ensure you are using HTTPS (the install prompt is unavailable on HTTP).
- In Chrome, open DevTools > Application > Service Workers and click Update or Unregister, then reload.
- On Safari (macOS), PWA install is available via File > Add to Dock.
- If Praxi feels outdated after an update, close all Praxi tabs, wait ten seconds, then reopen. The service worker will activate the new version.
White Screen or Blank Page
- Disable browser extensions (ad blockers and privacy extensions can interfere with API requests).
- If contacting support, press F12, click Console, and take a screenshot of any red error messages to share with the support team.
- Try an incognito/private window to rule out extension conflicts.
Autofill Conflicts
Password managers and autofill may populate clinical fields incorrectly. If you notice unexpected values in forms, disable autofill for the Praxi domain in your password manager settings.
Cross-Browser Tips
| Issue | Resolution |
|---|---|
| PDF previews not rendering | Use Chrome or Edge; Firefox occasionally blocks embedded PDFs. |
| Copy-paste formatting lost | Paste with Ctrl+Shift+V to strip formatting. |
| Print layout broken | Use the built-in Export to PDF action instead of the browser print dialog. |
| Date picker not appearing | Ensure your browser is up to date; older Safari versions have known date input issues. |
Still Stuck?
If the issue persists, contact support via Help > Contact Support and include your browser name, version, and a screenshot of any console errors.
