iOS App Troubleshooting

App Not Loading or Blank Screen

  1. Force-quit the app by swiping up from the app switcher, then reopen it.
  2. Check your internet connection. Praxi requires an active connection for the initial load.
  3. Ensure your device is running iOS 17.0 or later. Earlier versions are not supported.
  4. If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the app from the App Store.

Data Not Syncing

Praxi syncs data when the app is in the foreground. iOS suspends background activity aggressively, so data may appear stale after switching apps.

  • Open Praxi and pull down on any list to trigger a manual refresh.
  • Check that you have a stable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.
  • If you made changes offline, they will sync automatically once connectivity is restored. A sync indicator appears in the top bar while changes are being uploaded.
  • Large attachments (over 10 MB) require Wi-Fi to sync.

Push Notifications Not Arriving

Push notifications require iOS 17.0 or later and must be explicitly enabled.

  1. Go to iOS Settings > Notifications > Praxi and ensure notifications are allowed.
  2. In Praxi, navigate to Settings > Notifications and verify your preferred channels are enabled.
  3. Check that Do Not Disturb or a Focus mode is not silencing Praxi alerts.
  4. If notifications stopped working after an iOS update, sign out of Praxi and sign back in to re-register your device token.

Biometric Authentication Issues

  • Ensure Face ID or Touch ID is enabled in iOS Settings > Face ID & Passcode.
  • If biometric login fails repeatedly, use your PIN to sign in and then re-enable biometrics in Praxi > Settings > Security.

Session Expired or Frequent Logouts

The Praxi app stores authentication tokens securely in the iOS Keychain. If you are logged out unexpectedly:

  • Sign out fully and sign back in to refresh your authentication tokens.
  • Free up device storage (at least 500 MB recommended), as low storage can cause the OS to evict secure data.
  • Ensure your device has a stable internet connection when signing in.

Camera and Microphone Access

Telehealth and voice transcription require camera and microphone permissions.

  1. Go to iOS Settings > Praxi and enable Camera and Microphone.
  2. If permissions were previously denied, you must toggle them off and on again in iOS Settings.

App Crashes on Launch

  • Update to the latest version of Praxi from the App Store.
  • Restart your device.
  • If crashes continue, contact support with your device model and iOS version.
