Academy Journal and Wellbeing
Reflection and self-monitoring sit beside clinical training content. Both tools are for the learner — journal entries are private; wellbeing check-ins can support supervisor visibility only through your practice’s configured safety pathways (not as a public social feed).
Reflective journal
Path: Academy → Journal (/academy/journal)
- Write private reflections with optional AI-scaffolded prompts
- Types include general, clinical, cultural safety, and supervision-related reflection (labels as shown in the UI)
- Filter the list by type; empty and error states include recovery actions
From a learning module
Some modules (for example trauma, risk, self-care, forensic, cultural safety) show a learner care banner. Reflect in journal opens the journal with:
- Compose form open
- Title pre-filled from the module
- A suggested reflection type
- A “Back to module” link
Your reflection remains private to you.
Wellbeing (K10)
Path: Academy → Wellbeing (/academy/wellbeing)
- Complete a K10 (Kessler Psychological Distress Scale) check-in
- See latest score, risk band, and trend over time when you have history
- Optional notes; crisis resource links (e.g. Lifeline, Beyond Blue) are listed on the page
From a learning module
Wellbeing check-in from a module banner opens the questionnaire (and can pre-fill a short note referencing the module). This is a learning/self-care tool — not emergency clinical care.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact emergency services (000 in Australia) or a crisis line such as Lifeline 13 11 14. Do not rely on Academy chat or forms for crisis response. :::
Supervision note
Supervision sessions in Academy can include a wellbeing check as part of hour models (e.g. 5+1). That is separate from the K10 page but related to the same self-care practice. See Academy → Supervision.
