Academy Simulations

Simulations provide OSCE-style practice stations: timed or structured clinical encounters with session transcript, completion, and review. They support skill rehearsal; they are not a substitute for formal OSCE examinations run by universities or boards.

Finding stations

  1. Open Academy → Simulations
  2. Browse or search stations (type, domain, stage filters where shown)
  3. Start a new session, or resume / review a recent one

Empty, loading, and error states include recovery actions (retry / return to list).

Running a session

  1. Read the station brief (code, type, duration, competencies, rubric where provided)
  2. Interact through the session UI (send messages / responses as prompted)
  3. Complete the session when finished
  4. Open Review for scores, dimensions, and feedback when available

Learner safety

Client-facing instructions intended for the simulated client (spoiler / actor brief) are not shown to learners in the product UI. You see the practitioner-facing brief only.

Review

The review screen surfaces:

  • Overall outcome and dimension scores when present
  • Feedback text
  • Transcript (or an honest empty state if none was stored)
  • Actions to return to the station list or start another attempt
