Praxi Academy
Praxi Academy is a competency-based training surface inside Praxi. It supports professional formation against Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) style domains through structured learning modules, evidence logging, formative and mastery assessments, OSCE-style simulations, supervision hour tracking, private journal reflections, and wellbeing check-ins.
It is practitioner training software — not a university enrolment system and not a substitute for APAC accreditation or board examinations. Progress and mastery labels describe learning activity in Praxi, not registration outcomes.
Who it is for
- Learners — provisional psychologists, registrars, interns, and practitioners building structured learning and evidence
- Supervisors / facilitators — review learners, supervision hours, peer review assignment, and escalations where your role allows
You use your normal Praxi login. There is no separate Academy account.
Getting access
Praxi Academy is installed per practice from the App Marketplace:
- Open Marketplace from the sidebar
- Install Praxi Academy
- After install, Academy appears in your sidebar navigation

Deep guides:
- Learning modules — module player tabs, quizzes, labs, discussion, tutor
- Simulations — OSCE stations and review
- Journal and wellbeing — reflection and K10 check-ins
Studying a module
- Open Learn (or continue from the dashboard / course syllabus)
- Choose a module — the module player opens
- Work through Content (sections, media, key terms), Cases, Exercises (including interactive labs where configured), and Assessments
- Use Discussion for peer threads and peer review when your practice uses them
- When the module is complete, use Add to CPD to copy a pre-filled activity into Praxi CPD tracking (once per module)
Formative checks and mastery quiz submissions are learning tools. They are not OSCE results or board exams. See Learning modules for detail.
Plans
| Plan | Typical learners | Includes (as shown on Billing) |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Small cohorts | Core competency framework, evidence, pathway |
| Basic | Growing teams | Adds AI-assisted assessment support, simulations, richer analytics |
| Premium | Larger programmes | Highest tier features (see in-app Billing for current entitlements) |
Exact prices and entitlements are always authoritative on Academy → Billing. A short trial may be available depending on your organisation's setup.
Academy and CPD tracking
Academy complements — but does not replace — Praxi's CPD tracking. Completing a learning module can surface Add to CPD, which pre-fills a CPD activity from the module details. Your practice CPD record remains the system of record for AHPRA CPD obligations.
Academy does not invent accreditation status or claim that module completion equals registration progression. Supervisors and boards remain the authorities for those decisions. :::
