System Monitoring
The Monitoring dashboard gives practice owners and supervisors visibility into the compliance posture of their Praxi environment — a searchable audit trail and tamper-evident evidence logs, in one place.
Infrastructure health — background job queues, service diagnostics, and platform alerting — is monitored around the clock by Praxi's operations team. Your practice doesn't need to watch any of it.

Getting Started
- Navigate to Monitoring from the main sidebar (under the Practice section)
- The Evidence Logs view opens by default; switch to Audit Trail for the full activity log
Practice Monitoring requires a PRO or Enterprise subscription.
Evidence Logs
Evidence logs are a subset of audit records specifically formatted for compliance and legal purposes. They provide tamper-evident proof of:
- Clinical note signing — when a note was signed, by whom, and the note content at signing time
- Consent records — when consent was given or withdrawn, the consent type, and the consenting party
- Document access — who accessed sensitive documents and when
- Data exports — what data was exported, by whom, and the stated purpose
- Erasure requests — right-to-erasure requests and their processing status
Evidence logs include cryptographic hashes to verify that records have not been tampered with after creation.
Audit Trail Viewer
Every significant action in Praxi is recorded in the audit trail. The viewer lets you search and filter the audit log.

Searching the Audit Trail
- Open the Audit Trail view
- Use the filters to narrow results: date range, user, action type, resource, keyword
- Results are displayed in reverse chronological order
You can export results as CSV or a compliance PDF for external review or legal proceedings — the PDF includes a suspicious-activity summary. See Audit Logs for the full audit-trail guide.
Audit trail records are immutable and retained for seven years in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988. They cannot be edited or deleted by any user, including practice owners.
