Reports
Open Practice → Reports to find reports available to you. Reports brings together practice performance, money, clients and referrals, clinical and governance information, and operational activity.
Your role and your practice's enabled features determine which reports appear. Some reports cover your own work; others require access to practice-wide information. A shortcut in Reports keeps the access requirements of the app that owns the report.
Find and open a report
- Open Reports and search by report name or topic.
- Select the report you need.
- Check its scope, dates and filters before interpreting the results.
- Use the report's available export or print controls when you need a copy.
Depending on your practice's enabled view, reports are arranged in categories or in a catalogue with All and Yours tabs. In the catalogue you can filter by topic or owning app. Pin a report to find it again in Yours.
Choose a topic
| Topic | Examples |
|---|---|
| Practice and team | Practice dashboard, appointments, note completion |
| Clients and referrals | Client demographics, client retention, referral sources |
| Money | Income, aged debtors, BAS and GST, tax reports |
| Claims and returns | Medicare processing, DVA payments, WorkCover reports |
| Clinical and governance | Outcomes, compliance, risk and safety |
| Communication | Notification and email activity |
Reports may open in Billing, Accounting or another app. Continue there to use the report's own filters and controls. For financial detail, see Billing reports. For writing a clinical document, see Report generation.
If a report is missing or cannot load
Clear your search or filters first. An empty list can mean that no matching reports are available within your access. Ask your practice administrator to check your role and enabled features if you expected a report to appear.
If Reports shows a loading error, use Try again where available. A failed load does not mean there are no results. Check any date range, scope and freshness information shown by the report before relying on its figures.
