Staff Wellbeing
Praxi includes dedicated features for supporting practitioner and staff wellbeing. The Brene AI agent, regular check-in surveys, and wellness dashboards help practice owners identify early signs of burnout.
Brene -- The Wellbeing Agent
Brene is Praxi's AI agent focused on staff wellness, HR matters, and team dynamics. Available through the AI chat interface, Brene can help with:
- Workload assessment -- Analyse caseload distribution and identify imbalances.
- Leave planning -- Suggest optimal leave scheduling based on team capacity.
- Burnout indicators -- Review recent patterns and flag potential concerns.
- HR policy guidance -- Answer questions about common HR scenarios in Australian healthcare.
Conversations with Brene are private to the individual practitioner. Practice owners do not have access to individual conversations. :::
Wellbeing Check-In Surveys
Automated wellbeing check-in surveys for your own practice staff are not yet available for general practices. A separate EAP module supports employee wellbeing check-ins for corporate EAP clients. Contact your account manager for updates on staff wellbeing survey availability.
Praxi is designed to support regular short wellbeing surveys for team members, configurable for frequency (weekly, fortnightly, or monthly) and custom or default question sets.
Default Survey Areas
| Area | Sample Question |
|---|---|
| Workload | "How manageable has your caseload felt this week?" |
| Support | "Do you feel adequately supported by your team?" |
| Professional growth | "Have you had opportunities to develop your skills?" |
| Work-life balance | "How well have you maintained boundaries this week?" |
| Overall satisfaction | "How would you rate your overall job satisfaction?" |
Team-level results are only shown when at least three team members have responded, to protect individual anonymity. :::
Wellbeing Dashboard
When staff wellbeing check-in surveys are available, a dashboard for practice owners and managers will display team average scores, response rates, threshold alerts, and workload distribution.
Burnout Prevention
You can ask the Brene agent to review objective workload indicators and flag early signs of burnout for your attention, such as:
- A practitioner working well above their usual session count for several weeks in a row.
- Notes regularly being signed outside business hours.
- A practitioner who has not taken leave for an extended period.
Automatic background monitoring that surfaces these indicators as alerts -- without you having to ask -- is not yet available for general practices. Ask Brene to review workload and leave patterns in the meantime, and contact your account manager for updates on automated burnout alerting.
