Working with panels

Panels keep a useful tool beside your current page. Open one from the bottom toolbar; on smaller screens, look in More for additional tools.

Opening and typing

Select a toolbar icon to open its panel. Tasks, Sticky notes, Search and Praxi AI focus their input when opened so you can type immediately. Search also has a compact toolbar popup: choose Keep open in panel to carry your query into a pinned panel.

Useful default shortcuts (use Ctrl instead of Cmd on Windows):

Cmd+KOpen search
Cmd+Shift+AToggle Praxi AI
Cmd+Shift+NToggle Sticky notes
Cmd+Shift+BToggle Notifications

Pinning and position

Panels open in a right-hand dock beside your work. Use Keep panel open to remember a panel between visits. Your existing choice of side is preserved. Search also offers Keep open in panel from its compact popup.

Kept-open panel controls let you change sides or stop keeping the panel open. Multiple panels share the available space. The dock has a firmer background than desktop widgets, and the page resizes beside it. On phones, a panel opens as a focused full-screen view.

Use Enter full screen when you need more room, then return to the smaller panel with its header control. Close panel dismisses it. On desktop, panels leave space above the toolbar so navigation remains reachable.

On small screens, a panel uses more of the screen. Its close control returns you to the page. When the software keyboard opens, the interface prioritises the input and available working space.

Work through your tasks

The task list is the main part of the panel. Choose To do, Today, Urgent, Overdue or Done, and sort by due date, priority or name.

  • Tick a checkbox to complete a task.
  • Click a title to edit it inline; press Enter to save or Escape to cancel.
  • Select the date to change the deadline or time.
  • Open the task's … menu for status, priority, notes and alerts.
  • Use Show more tasks to load further results.
  • Add a task with the small input at the bottom.

Use Open full Tasks page for the larger task workspace.

Sticky notes, chat and AI

Sticky notes are quick jottings, separate from clinical notes. Open a note to edit it, turn it into a task or archive it when finished.

Messages gives a quick view of recent conversations; open the full Messages page for everything else. Opening a panel does not send a message. Praxi AI also waits for you to submit your request; review proposed changes before approving them.

Find help

Open More → Help and support. It suggests help for the page you are viewing, and its Getting Started section links to the desktop, navigation and panel guides.

Notes on your desktop

Choose Keep note on desktop on a sticky note to place it on your current desktop. The drawer and desktop show the same note: edits appear in both. Drag the note by its top edge or resize it from its bottom corner. Removing it from the desktop keeps the note in the drawer; archiving it removes the active note from both places.
