Joining a Telehealth Session
Attend your appointment from home via secure video call.
Before your session
- Use a device with a camera and microphone (phone, tablet, or computer)
- Find a quiet, private space
- Test your internet connection
- Allow camera and microphone access when prompted
Joining the session
- Open the portal before your appointment time — the Join Waiting Room button becomes available 30 minutes before your scheduled time
- Tap Join Waiting Room on your upcoming appointment
- Allow camera and microphone permissions when prompted
- Wait in the virtual waiting room for your practitioner to begin
Recording consent
Before joining, you may be asked whether you consent to the session being recorded. Recording is used for note-taking purposes and is entirely optional. You can change your consent at any time during the session.
Session history
After your session, you can view your telehealth session history in the portal. If a recording was made (with your consent), it may be available for playback.
